- The number of leaks has dropped significantly in the car park area.
- Additional drains and some 70 metres of drainage pipework have been installed.
- The bollard lights that have been sealed are holding well, no water access to the carpark
- There are still areas where some leaks remain
- The positive outcome is that we don’t need to replace the membrane on the whole surface of the area which had the water feature. This is a big saving.
Action points:
- Seal all other bollard lights
- Test the two remaining drains for leaks and repair if needed
- Remove wooden fence and seal the holes in the concrete
- Remove metal mesh and seal the holes in the concrete
- Expose two areas next to the exit ramp on the car park level and seal them
- Unblock drains on the ground in 4 locations
- Fit drainpipe bends and re-design the channel opening on the floor of the carpark to catch all the drain water
Time frame:
Completion dates might change due to complication of repairs needed or the amount of funding that will be available for this project.
Create Engineering preparing tender documents, drawings etc, for entry ramps to the blocks and stairs.
By end of September complete all the above action points
Assess the situation with any residual leaks
By end of October, we need to have agreed landscape design.
From November start the landscape work with an aim to finish it by April 2027
