In the event of owners suspecting any criminality in or around our development including the underground car park:
1. Call the police on 101 with as much information as possible including the time of the incident.
2. The police will give you an incident number and inform you of any action they will take.
3. If the police require access to any CCTV footage, they will contact the Factor who will attempt to locate the footage
There have been an increasing number of incidents of damage and theft in the basement car park. There are a number of issues including current CCTV blind spots, old cameras etc. TEF have recently had a meeting with Police Scotland regarding the recent upsurge in criminal activity here and it is clear that our development is not the only one affected indeed there is an increased level of crime in the Leith and Newhaven areas.
TEF have completed a thorough review of the car park security and have produced plans to upgrade our current system, replace the older cameras and install some 360 degree cameras suspended from the roof of the car park area thereby eliminating current blind spots and giving much clearer images. We anticipate the work to be completed soon.
